A brief about ‘Himachal Pradesh’


The Himachal Pradesh Agricultural, Pests, Diseases and noxious weeds act, 1969 (ACT No. 18 OF 1969)1 (Received the assent from the President of India on the 21st May, 1969, and was published in R.H.P., dated the 5th July, 1969 at pages 240-241).  PLANNING PROCESS UNDER NRHM: HIMACHAL PRADESH Himachal Pradesh prepared District Health Action Plans for all of its 12 districts in 2008-09.  However, the democratic set up was revived in Himachal Pradesh on 1st July, 1963 when the Territorial Council was converted in to a Legislative Assembly.  Use of DHAPs The district plans of Himachal Pradesh provide rich information on the various health issues of the districts.

Hillsides covered with thick forests, acres filled with apple orchards, small picturesque hamlets and remarkable views in all directions combine to make Chindi (1825 m) and the area around it, one of the most beautiful places in Himachal Pradesh.
